Davis Bay is a sandy arc that hums with activity year-round.  Play on the sandy beaches at low tide, or go for a walk on a hot summer's day. The seawall and pier is perfect for storm watching in the winter.  Walk the shore-hugging path and pick a spot to watch the sun go down - one of the best on the Sunshine Coast.

The Best of Winter Recreation on the Sunshine Coast - Ski and Snowshoe Dakota Ridge
Seeking adventure?  Dakota Ridge offers excellent winter recreation including 13km of groomed cross country ski trails and 7km of snowshoe trails overlooking the ocean.  Up on the Ridge in the winter, you'll find yourself in sundrenched surroundings above the low-lying coastal fog. Transportation up the mountain is available by private companies or 4WD vehicles.

The Best of Wilson Creek - the Sunshine Coast by Air and the Chapman Creek Fish Hatchery
Primarily a rural and residential area, Wilson Creek is home to the Sechelt Airport, where small private aircraft can arrive on the Sunshine Coast. Nearby, the Chapman Creek Fish Hatchery plays a key role in helping to rebuild local salmon and trout stocks to historic levels through a community-driven education centre and hatchery operation. You can enjoy a latte at a cozy coffee shop before you head out to the riverside viewing platforms.
