Getting Here by Air

Located near downtown Sechelt and 30 minutes from Gibsons, visitors to the Lower Sunshine Coast can fly into Porpoise Bay on daily floatplane flights from Vancouver Regional Airport, Victoria's downtown Inner Habour, and Nanamio.   Regular scheduled flights are also available to Madeira Park and Texada Island.  

Powell River and the Upper Sunshine Coast are serviced by flights from the Vancouver International Airport to the Powell River Municipal Airport.


West Coast Air provides scheduled floatplane service and charters to Sechelt from Vancouver Airport(YVR), Vancouver Harbour and Nanaimo.

Tofino Air provides scheduled floatplane service and charters from Vancouver Regional Airport and Vancouver Island into Sechelt. New service includes Victoria.

Saltspring Air provides float plane service from downtown Vancouver to Madeira Park every Friday and Monday.

KD Air provides flights from Vancouver to Gillies Bay on Texada Island.

WestJet provides daily scheduled service into Comox Airport on Vancouver Island from most major Canadian cities as well as many US cities.

Pacific Coastal Airlines provides daily scheduled service into Powell River Airport from Vancouver South Terminal
