Day 1
The drive to the Sunshine Coast is effortless and beautiful. As you depart Horseshoe Bay aboard BC Ferries, you will be in awe of the scenery that surrounds you. Your 40 minute ferry ride will take you through a magnificently beautiful passage studded by emerald islands and mountain peaks. Upon arrival, the scenic seaside village of Gibsons is your welcoming point to the Sunshine Coast. Enjoy a stroll along the harbour trail, take a boat tour, or discover one of the many unique shops Gibsons has to offer.
This evening dining at one of the Sunshine Coast's hidden gems,
Smitty's Oyster House. This once tired, forgotten marine repair shop has been transformed into one of BC's most memorable eateries. Nestled on the shoreline of Gibsons Harbour, next to one of Canada's few remaining working wharfs; watch the halibut and crab trawlers unload their catch, as your taste buds are heightened with local wares and delicious BC wines.

Day 2
This is what you came for! The
Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club is a beautiful championship 18 hole golf course in Roberts Creek. At a medium length layout of 6165 yards, it provides for all levels of golf ability with 3-4 tee boxes on each hole. There are well-conditioned fairways and large bentgrass greens overlooking the Georgia Strait offering golfers spectacular mountain and seascape views. The patio is the perfect place to unwind after golf with views of the lush golf course below and the Georgia Strait, you may even catch site of a passing cruise ship.
This evening dine in historic Lower Gibsons at
Leo's Tapas & Grill where you will enjoy authentic Greek cuisine, ribs, steak and pasta. This fabulous Mediterranean restaurant offers a dining room, large outdoor patio and live entertainment on weekends.

Day 3
Discover why visitors are enchanted with the haven of natural bays & inlets at the top end of the Sechelt Peninsula. A relaxing scenic drive north takes you along the coast line passing by Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, Halfmoon Bay Lookout, Halfmoon Bay to Pender Harbour, which has been called "the Venice of the North" for its lovely waterways.
Spectacular by nature, the
Pender Harbour Golf & Country Club nestles in an idyllic setting of rich forests and mountains, a salmon spawning creek winding through its lush fairways. One of the finest 9-hole courses in British Columbia, Pender Harbour is carved from dense Sunshine Coast forest, providing a unique and challenging blend of gently rolling and hilly fairways. Water hazards are scattered strategically throughout the course; the fairways are narrow but not overly demanding; the greens and tee boxes are elevated, allowing wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and breathtaking scenery.
After a round of golf, continue exploring the area and browse through the gift shops, pick up a new novel at the
Blue Water Book Company and visit the galleries and see the works of British Columbia artists and craftsmen, such as modern abstract artist
Motoko.
Drop in at the

Day 4
Experience the beautiful
Sechelt Golf & Country Club nestled high above the town of Sechelt, commanding views longer than any golfer can imagine their drives carrying. Through elevated vision, critically acclaimed architect Russ Olson has fashioned 18 indelible golf holes, each possessing its own character, but together linking fluidly from first tee to eighteenth green. 13 lakes sway the sense on 13 different holes. Numerous bunkers challenge the big-hitter and dare the pin-point accuracy needed to cover the flag on exquisitely-true bentgrass greens that range in size from 5700 to 8100 square feet. Day 5
Before departing the Sunshine Coast, immerse yourself in the scenery as you embark on a leisurely boat ride through the sheltered waters of Porpoise Bay.
Mermaid Boat Tours invites you aboard their 25 ft luxury pontoon boat. You'll enjoy up close views of such wildlife as sea lions, seals, birds and possibly the friendly and entertaining, White Sided Dolphins.
Afterwards, you'll begin to make your way toward Langdale in preparation for your ferry trip home. Enroute, take time to stop at Davis Bay for a walk along the seawall and enjoy a latte at one of our cozy coffee shops as you watch the sun set over the Georgia Strait and, till next time, bid the Sunshine Coast goodbye.
