Day 1
In December, the Sunshine Coast sparkles of Christmas.  Take in the breathtaking scenery on your 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.  Upon arrival the scenic seaside village of Gibsons is your welcoming point to the Sunshine Coast.

Retire & rejuvenate at the Bed & Breakfast, Suite or Cottage of your choice

Day 2

Experience the incredible magic of winter with a Guided Snowshoe Tour to Dakota Mountain. With fantastic views of the ocean and Vancouver Island this 2.5 hour tour will allow you to enjoy a truly amazing winter outing.  Enjoy a hot cocoa break during the tour.

Continue embracing the spirit of Christmas with a visit to the Christmas Workshop at Deluxe Garden Centre for Wreath Making.  Here you will learn techniques to create your own wreath, centerpiece or swag.  In a couple of hours, you will walk away with a richly-textured, fragrant living wreath that will last long into the New Year.

Delight your palette with an a la carte or an elaborate chefs tasting menu at Chasters Restaurant.  With a history rich in holiday merrymaking, this is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Day 3
Saturday is a great day to take in a few of the Christmas Craft Fairs & Events that are taking place on the Sunshine Coast.  Meet some of the finest local artists and crafters to find that unique gift for someone special.

Experience the incredible magic of winter with a Walk to a Victorian Christmas.  The Linwood House mansion, in the forest of Roberts Creek, is transformed into a Victorian Christmas scene.  Meander through the woods, visit Santa, roast marshmallows around the campfire, visit the petting stable, all while enjoying live music inside & out.  Sip hot apple cider as you tour the beautifully decorated Linwood House.  (December 4, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm)

Be sure to enjoy the Christmas lights of Gibsons and Sechelt during the annual Christmas Light the Lights celebrations.  Christmas trees can be viewed on Gibsons Way in Gibsons and at the Cenotaph in Sechelt.

Discover one of the many great restaurants in Gibsons. Some favourites include the Sita's Spag Shack featuring home-style Italian cuisine, Lina's Lounge & Grill with scrumptious favourites and live entertainment and Smitty's Oyster House nestled on the shoreline of Gibsons Harbour.

Retire & rejuvenate at the Bed & Breakfast, Suite or Cottage of your choice

Day 4
Gibsons Landing is a great place to explore on foot and do a little more Christmas shopping. Enjoy a stroll along the public wharf and promenade, continue along Molly's Lane and discover a meandering streetscape of antique shops, galleries, bookstores, markets and restaurants all decorated for the season. Some must sees included The Blackberry Shop, The Landing Clothing Company and Whimsy Giftware & Home Décor.

In the early afternoon, travel along scenic Marine Drive through the settlements of Grantham's Landing and Hopkins Landing to the Langdale Ferry Terminal for your return trip home. Reflect as you cruise through the breathtakingly beautiful passage studded by emerald islands.
