Instructor Harry Hill will show you how to collect seeds from native and other plants, clean them and save them for planting. We will be working with seeds from native bulbous plants such as camas, chocolate lily and fawn lily; herbaceous perennials including Oregon sunshine, goat's beard and large-leaved lupin, as well as berry shrubs such as saskatoon, Oregon-grape and Indian-plum. You will later be able to apply the methods you learn in this class when propagating non-native plants. All materials will be supplied.
Arrive early: space is limited to 15 people.
